Why does Father forbid Rodolfo to sing and Neftali to daydream? What is the effect on the entire family when Father is at home?
Neftali is a dreamer. He love words and stories, collecting treasures, and listening to the rain. He wants to write and to help people who can't speak for themselves. But Neftali's father ridcules his dreams and has his own plans for Neftali's future. With a bravery he never knew he had, Neftali sets out on an inspiring journey of self-discovery that will transform his life and, ultimately, the world.

cause his dad didn't want him to be weaker like his mom was cause she was a daydreamer
ReplyDeleteFather forbids Rodolfo and Netafali because he said that if Netafali daydreams he would get weaker. He forbids Rodolfo to sing because he says that music is a waste of time and he would suffer because he would not have work. Jose from Dickinson Academy.

ReplyDeleteFather didnt want neftali to be weak and grow up to be nothing also father thought rodolfo singing would not get him no where and was useless and would not put food on the table. Im Tyviea Williams at Dickinson Academy.
ReplyDeleteBecause he thought that neftali would become a weakling and that daydreaming makes you useless. He is thinking that neftali will never grow up and will never be strong. Joauhne berry from Dickinson Academy
