Neftali is a dreamer. He love words and stories, collecting treasures, and listening to the rain. He wants to write and to help people who can't speak for themselves. But Neftali's father ridcules his dreams and has his own plans for Neftali's future. With a bravery he never knew he had, Neftali sets out on an inspiring journey of self-discovery that will transform his life and, ultimately, the world.
What made you want to read the book " The Dreamer"?

what made me want to read the dreamer is the inspirations of how Pam Munoz Ryan create her books and most of her books have many educational things in them. and by reading the synopsis i think this book was a very good book for students to read Tyson from Campus elementary.

Deletemy favorite part of the book is when the boy that dreams he sees the bird in the woods & his brother said if the bird is on the left side is bad luck but if the bird is on the right side he will get good luck and the boy took home a valuable prize that the bird dropped & he took his prize home & put it with his collection of stuff that he has collected & he will always remember his things that he collected & will always keep his prizes that he found & if somebody like papa tells him to throw his collection he will always keep his prizes because his prizes mean a lot to him that he will keep them and will not throw his prizes & know matter what people say about him he will always keep his prizes forever even if he has trouble with leaving his stuff around.

ReplyDeleteWhen i saw the cover of the book i thought it was going to be a good book but when i started reading the book there were some sad parts in the story because in one part of the story Neftali"s brother got hurt because papa took him to the forest he was singing and papa does not like his family singing because papa has other plans for his family when it was Neftali"s turn to go to the forest his brother gave him some advice saying not to do what papa does not like, stay close where papa is, come right to papa when he blows his whistle.
